Last week we hosted an exclusive, luxury dining experience at Leonardslee House for a handful of our wonderful Rolex customers.
Last week we opened our doors after hours for an exclusive invitation-only event, showcasing TUDOR’s 2018 Basel collection of timepieces.
This year, the GMT-Master II, with its second time zone, is at the forefront of Rolex’s 2018 selection. It includes a brand new Rolex movement, calibre 3285, and offers a distinctive new image.
Last week saw the doors open to the most prestigious, and highly anticipated event in the calendar of both jewellery and watch aficionados alike, Baselworld 2017. And yesterday, 4 members of the Wakefields team, including Melanie and Dominic Wakefield themselves, were lucky enough to board a flight to Basel to, to see first-hand the exclusive new timepieces and luxury jewellery, that the coming year will have to offer.
This week saw the launch of TUDOR’s new BASELWORLD 2017 timepieces, unveiling a range of five different models in total, including: Heritage Black Bay Chrono, Heritage Black Bay Steel, Heritage Black Bay S&G, Heritage Black Bay 41 & Clair de Rose.
This year’s flagship models include a new generation of the professional divers’ model, the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, updated for its updated 50th anniversary with a new, larger 43mm case and Rolex’s new calibre 3235 movement. The new Yacht-Master II, the unique regatta chronograph, features a new dial and new hands for increased legibility. New versions of the Cosmograph Daytona in 18ct yellow, white or Everose gold have adopted the innovative Oysterflex bracelet in elastomer and a Monobloc Cerachom bezel in black ceramic.

It was yet another busy day for the Wakefields team in store on Friday 27th November. Whilst many stores lowered their prices to compete in the Black Friday sales, Wakefields Jewellers opened their doors after hours for an exclusive, invitation only, Cocktail and Gemstone evening. Offering a ‘one night only’ discount of 15% to each of the guests, with the proceeds going towards the ‘Look Good Feel Better’ charity – a fantastic cause that supports women suffering from the side effects of Cancer.
