The Tanzanite centre stone has a carat weight of 7.85, and is held securely in place by four claws. Surrounding the outstanding Tanzanite is a cluster of White Round Brilliant Cut Diamonds, that extend downwards along the shoulders of the ring. The diamonds are each 0.48 carats in weight, G in colour and VS in clarity. In addition to the four claws that suspend the centre stone, the Tanzanite is supported by a basket-like head that offers added protection as well as added design interest. Ranking at a 6.5 on the Mohs Scalehold of Hardness, Tanzanite as a stone are particularly vulnerable to chips and scrapes through wear, so we recommend that this particular ring isn't worn everyday and is stored safely to preserve it's striking beauty.
