Aquamarine has been the official birthstone for the month of March since 1912, as well as the Zodiac sign Scorpio. The gem is often considered to be the traditional gift to present your partner with on the 16th or 19th Wedding Anniversary. Aquamarine is a member of the beryl family and ranges in colour from an almost colourless pale blue, to blue-green or teal – the most priced colour is a deep-blue aqua colour.
